What’s New for the 2026 Kia Sorento?
Kia published separate 2026 updates for the gasoline, Hybrid and Plug-In Hybrid Sorento.
Gasoline Sorento
Kia added exterior appearance updates to 2026 X-Line and X-Pro models,
including glossy-black lower front and rear trim and grille-related accents.
Terrain Mode is now standard on AWD-equipped 2026 Sorento models.
Kia also updated the steering-wheel design and made several trim-specific
equipment changes, including a new available EX Premium Package.
Sorento Hybrid
Kia added a new steering-wheel design with hands-on-detection technology
for 2026 and Terrain Mode on AWD-equipped Sorento Hybrid models.
The Hybrid EX now uses a standard second-row bench seat. An available
EX Premium Package adds second-row captain’s chairs, Bose® Premium
Audio and a panoramic roof.
Sorento Plug-In Hybrid
For 2026, Kia added exterior appearance enhancements and made Terrain Mode
standard on the Sorento Plug-In Hybrid.
All 2026 Sorento PHEV models also come standard with a combined
