Kia’s official 2027 model-year updates differ by powertrain.
Gas Sportage
Kia states that most of the 2027 gasoline Sportage lineup carries over
from the prior model year.
For 2027, the X-Line adds a Panoramic Sunroof and
Smart Power Liftgate as standard equipment. Kia also
lists a new Road Rider Brown exterior color with an
available two-tone roof.
Sportage Hybrid
For 2027, Kia adds front-wheel-drive availability to the S
and EX Hybrid trims.
Kia also introduces an available Technology Package for the
Hybrid X-Line.
Sportage Plug-In Hybrid
Kia states that the Sportage Plug-In Hybrid returns for the
2027 model year unchanged.

the 2027 gasoline Sportage lineup. Available all-wheel drive with
Multi-Terrain Mode varies by trim.
2027 Sportage Hybrid
Kia rates the 2027 Sportage Hybrid turbo-hybrid powertrain at
232 horsepower and 271 lb.-ft. of torque.
The LX, S and EX front-wheel-drive configurations are rated at an
EPA-estimated 40 city / 42 highway / 41 combined MPG.
Applicable all-wheel-drive Sportage Hybrid configurations are rated
at an EPA-estimated 35 city / 36 highway / 35 combined MPG.
The conventional Sportage Hybrid does not need to be plugged in.
2027 Sportage Plug-In Hybrid
Kia rates the 2027 Sportage Plug-In Hybrid turbocharged powertrain
at 268 horsepower.
Kia lists an EPA-estimated 33 MPG combined and a
Kia-estimated 34 miles of all-electric range.
The 2027 Sportage Plug-In Hybrid lineup is offered in
X-Line AWD and X-Line Prestige AWD
