What Is Kia Connect?

Formerly known as UVO, Kia Connect has been the manufacturer’s signature suite of Kia connectivity apps since UVO was discontinued in 2022. With an abundance of security, convenience, safety features, and more available through four distinct plans, Kia Connect will elevate your Oviedo driving experience.

Kia Connect Plans

Other Kia Connect Features: Highlights

In addition to the ones mentioned above, there are some other Kia Connect features that we’d like to highlight in greater detail. Check them out, below, and consider how much they’ll enhance your Kissimmee driving experience: 

General

• Climate Scheduling: From the Kia app (or online), you can set your vehicle’s cabin temperature according to your climate preference. 
• Digital Key: If you have a compatible smartphone or smartwatch, you can use these devices to access your Kia.

Security

• Stolen Vehicle Recovery: Kia Connect technology and trained Kia agents help law enforcement recover your stolen Kia vehicle.
• Stolen Vehicle Immobilization: If necessary, you can use Kia Connect to shut down the vehicle’s engine, which immobilizes it.

Alerts

• Speed Alert: You’ll get alerted if your Kia exceeds your preset speed preferences.
• Diagnostic Alert: You’ll get alerted if a warning indicator is triggered. Vehicle diagnostics check the powertrain, chassis, and airbag systems.
• Valet Alert: You can pre-set a driving limit, and you will receive an alert if your vehicle is driven beyond it. 

Remote Controls

• Remote Lock and Unlock: From the Kia app (or online), you can remotely lock or unlock your Kia vehicle.
• Remote Heated Seats: From the Kia app (or online), you can remotely heat your seats before you get in your Kia on a cold day.
• Remote Ventilated Seats: From the Kia app (or online), you can ventilate your seats remotely.

Eco Features

• Remote Charge & Stop Charge: From the Kia app (or online), you can remotely start or stop charging your Kia vehicle.
• Charge Scheduling: From the Kia app (or online), you can set your vehicle to charge according to your preferred schedule.

Navigation

• Connected Routing: Using real-time traffic data, Connected Routing improves the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of your Wedgefield driving by providing you with better routing and greater arrival time accuracy.
• Connected Weather: Get real-time weather information for over 25,000 cities.
